People are saying don't reach for a QB. People are saying they expect the team to draft one, and the hope is they land their guy without overreaching to do so.


There's a segment on this board who are convinced the team should draft a QB early just to draft a QB, even if they have to take one at #3. It's the "must draft" mindset which landed us Gabbert. There are plenty of QBs in this draft who are capable of being developed into very good players for this team, and I fully expect the Jags to grab a couple of them in the draft. It may not be the first pick, or they may trade down a bit to get their guy. I just don't see them making a selection at QB at #3.

I'm not in the "must draft". I do think teddy is worth the 3rd pick and I'll be a little upset but fine as long as it's not a tackle. It was the same last year and everyone refuses to remember me saying tbat.


Also, the people who say draft a qb are saying that because it's not a reach in their mind. Just a difference in opinion between two parties.


To the poster who said Mett. I would really like that. He's my favorite qb outside of the top3 guys.
