Looking at everyone's favorite example, Sesttle.i think they still win the Super Bowl if they drafted Wilson at 16. Irvin wasn't the difference but Wilson was.


The nfl is going in the direction you support, I just don't agree. I think 2011 freaked everyone out and gms are scared now to risk there job on a qb. I don't think gms should be fired for missing on one qb. It's weird that a gm with a good track record can lose their job for one bust. But that's a different topic for a different day.
 

Psst... they won because they drafted him where he was supposed to be drafted.  He's the same player no matter where you select him.

 

They were wise, and their patience served them well.  There's simply no logic that supports taking him any earlier.  It simply can't be spun.  It's an insult to intelligence.
