I have been on the trade down bandwagon all along and I support DC if this happens.

 

This basically tells me that he has been in talks already with said slots in the first round. 

 

If 8,9 or 10 come calling then I would expect a second round pick attached, no less. If 12 to 14 are ideal then he is advertising to the top 15 teams he wants to move.

 

Great move.

 

We could see a browns draft from a few years ago when they kept trading down until they got their guy plus additional picks. This draft is so deep. Elite talent isn't only in the top 5. If Clowney, Mack, Watkins, weren't in this draft who would we be talking about being the top/elite talent.
