Official: Jaguars Vs Rams Gameday Thread
|
The Jacksonville Jaguars traded away Eugene Monroe this week in order to move Luke Joeckel over to his natural position at left tackle. That experiment is off to a bad start.
Joeckel was carted off the field with a right ankle injury during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams, the team announced. The second overall pick of April's draft went down while blocking for running back Maurice Jones-Drew. Joeckel crumpled to the ground after a Rams defender rolled up his right leg. Joeckel was taken to the locker room for X-rays and his return is doubtful, the team announced. It's a disastrous loss for the Jaguars, who are down to just Austin Pasztor and Cameron Bradfield at tackle. We'll keep an eye on this one and fire off any updates as they become available.
Because Jaguars is our mantra
