You're confusing Beasley with Coughlin's way overdrafted rail thin Fernando Bryant.

 

Williams wasn't even in Beasley's league.  Williams was pure scrub.  Beasley was no Rashean in his prime, but he was worth every penny we paid as a CB (unlike Williams.)

 

And you still think people believe your charade as a Jaguar fan...

No apparently, you're confusing a lot of stuff...

 

Bryant actually always had the rep of "being in the right spot" in coverage.....yet seemingly never making a play. It was maddening.  

 

I'm guessing you're letting the 6 INT season Beasley had in 1999 blind you to the fact that he really wasn't that good of a cover CB. Beasley despite the knack for coming up with the loose football and making plays like that, Beasley also had the knack of giving up the big play in coverage, as well. Williams made just about no plays as far as INT or fumbles go...but Williams, like Bryant, was usually in the right position in coverage. 

 

I don't think Brian Williams was all that good. But do think he was a better cover CB than Beasley. Neither were in Rashean's class.
