That comment resonated with front offices around the league who are looking at Johnny later in the first round.  It probably sets up a trade on draft day with one of those teams who really want Manziel. 

 

One thing that I found interesting about that particular Caldwell comment was the qualifier that he stuck on the end that rarely gets noticed. From the Jaguars.com article:

In other words, Manziel has the talent to be on the field but you need to cater to his specific abilities. All of the little pieces that are around this scenario tell me that this is a smokescreen.
