The only reason there's talk about trading down is a futile sense to follow lousy, non-elite quarterbacks down diluting the value of the original pick each time.

 

Taking a pick destined for an elite prospect and sub-dividing it again and again just gives you a bunch of less talented players every time.

 

We already have a team full of less talented players. We need more talent, not more picks.
