Any of these players would have the potential to have a huge impact on the team that ends up with them. Yet, it gets back to the cost of trading up. The Jaguars have the luxury of being selective with trade offers. With pick # 3, the Jaguars are guaranteed to have the opportunity to get a blue chip prospect. With the large assortment of middle round picks, the Jaguars have plenty of opportunities to upgrade the roster. Unless Dave Caldwell and Gus Bradley believe the Jaguars can get a very good prospect with pick # 10, that won't be that much of a downgrade of what they can get at # 3, I don't think the Jaguars and Lions are going to agree to a trade. |
