Your wrong, 8 WR's might go in the 1st round, so passing on Watkins is doing the Jags no good, your still gonna miss out on the other top WRs, why not get the best one? 

​You cant just not pick a top WR just because the other players are good when you wont even get those guys, its the same thing with the QBs, if we sit tight at 39, all the top QB's might be gone and we might be stuck with the left overs. 

 

 

He didn't say 8 of these WR would go in THIS first round....he said it was so deep that some will fall to the 2nd or even an outside chance at round 3. 

 

He said that the top 8 WR group as a whole are so good that in a normal draft any one of them could be selected in the first round. i.e. they all have a first round grade per his metrics.
