The idea to tank though was and IS always to get the #1 pick so you have ALL the options. Teddy could have been hit by a bus and died before the draft, then what??? They'd still have the #1 pick overall to use for the next best available. or trade. 

 

As it turned out, Teddy was NOT who they used their #1 pick on. But it STILL was smart to tank for the 1st overall pick. 

 

Thats the point. 
 

The point you're trying to spin is completely irrelevant. 

 

It was always about Bridgewater for you.  We can go back to any game day thread after a win and find dozens of posts where you soiled yourself over the win because we were taking ourselves out of the Bridgewater sweepstakes.  We can find dozens and possibly HUNDREDS of obsessive posts talking about how smart Houston was to tank for Teddy. 

 

Lie as you must to make yourself feel like you've proven something here.
