At QB moreso than any other position, if there's a guy that you feel strongly about, you take him. Period. Don't pass on a guy you love because you think you're going to love a couple other guys next year.

I get that if you think the guy is the Franchise QB you take him when you have the chance because there is no guarantee you will be in that position next year...we could have pick 3/4 and Mariota/Hundley go 1/2 and like you said Mariota could fall like Bridgewater so you never know.

 

I'm fine with the pick if Caldwell thinks he is a franchise guy.
