A lot of those same people loved people like Ponder, Gabbert, among other players. Don't trash players until they actually get on the field and prove you right or wrong. Could we have traded down to get Bortles, probably. Were their other high quality players we could have gotten, yes. Look at it this way. We still need a good WR and a good OLB(as far as not taking Watkins or Mack that is.) Still some good players at those spots. WR: Latimer, Ellington, Adams, Lee,Landry and so on. OLB: Attaochu and Van Noy. Still some very talented players at those positions that should be around at pick 39.
