So, we take our guy and sit him until he is ready and the team is ready. That takes some real discipline, but Caldwell and Bradley are sticking to the long term plan. It's not about 2014, it's about 2015 and beyond. There are a lot of great QBs that did not start right away. Check the Hall of Fame and Pro Bowl rosters and you will find them. There's no one way to do it, but there are an awful lot of cases where guys were forced out there before they were ready or the team around them was ready, forced out there by coaches who were on the hot seat and desperate to win. And they failed. So we just have to be patient and let Caldwell build this team. |
