I cannot fathom a scenario where the NFL would force a team to retain a player that is suspended. What if your Long Snapper is suspended? The NFL going to make you burn two roster spots on that position alone? What if the replacement LS gets suspended too?


It would make no sense for the NFL to force a team to keep a player that potentially offers them nothing in return.


As for weed- I have absolutely no problem with people smoking weed. Unless their job stipulates that they cannot. And if a player's multi-million dollar livelihood rests on them not smoking weed, and they do it anyways...they have bigger problems.
