Up until the 4.8-ish combine time, he was projected as being right up there with Mason, Hyde and Sankey as a top-tier runner in the draft. My thoughts are that tape is greater than everything. Look at the tape--does he look like a 4.8 guy? I'm kind of reminded of Kevin Jones, a running back a decade or so ago, who was projected as a high first-round pick until he ran 4.6 at the combine. He went late in the first, and it was later revealed that the reason he ran 4.6 is because he twitched his wrist and set off the electronic timer early, adding roughly two-tenths of a second to his official time.

How do you know that? Are you God? Because if you are, I'd like to register a complaint. We had three huge thunderstorms in a row, back to back to back over the course of six hours, earlier this week. The first one dropped 3/4" hail, the second dropped 1" hail, and the third dropped a ton of pea-sized hail. My wife's garden is trashed, my car that I just paid off the day before has some little dings in the roof now, and the roof of our house that we so badly need our insurance to replace shows nary a scratch. I ask you: why did you ding up my freshly paid-off car, destroy my wife's garden and leave the freaking roof intact? Seriously, dude, Buddhism sounds pretty good right now.
