In no way does the below statement absolve unnacceptable behavior, however behavior has a foundation, a background that leads to it's outcome. So to simply say that your a grown man, straighten up and fly right or onto the trash heap with you is a simplistic and callous description.

A major assumption by some is that because you turn 21, graduate college or are drafted into the NFL you are a grown man.

Rookie symposiums are held for a reason, many of these YOUNG men are not adults and have come from college programs that

met every need and catered to many whims with boosters and staff. Age is not an indicator of ability to handle prominence thrusted upon some. The league is littered with remanents of damaged / destroyed lives during or after football because the lack of life experience or maturity. The folks ready to party or hang with a newly minted NFL Pro are legendary. It does not matter if you come from a dirt poor or affluent background. It the rookie is not grounded, then that ship is ready to set sail into dangerous waters. The Jaguars and the League have bent over backwards to help Justin, now he has to help himself, but it's obvious he needs a guide to help him on his road to recovery. It is all in his court if he chooses to leave the Safe Harbour of the Jags and League's good graces, he need's to turn around in the Jetty before open water. That s a tricky manouver even for experienced mariners.

The Jaguars would be overjoyed to have Justin in the fold, that group of receivers would offer every nightmare that DC's have to plan for.

I would love to see him back. The Jags have made plans for the future, with or without Blackmon. I pray that this lesson is ot lost.

When they have no time,  they think about it!

When they go down hard, they think about it!

Just watch Peyton, Andrew, Caep even Mr. Bundchen.
