Jags fans have to be some of the more insecure fans...while I hate reading negative articles about our team too...but it is not like he made up a ton of lies or went to the tired old "attendance" issues.

 

He stated Bortles is popular now but if he does not play well he will not be...is that not true?...and you try to deny it...but if Bortles comes out and plays bad in his first few games there were be way more fans than there should be on here calling him a bust.

 

His shot of us not being an "NFL" team while below the belt is not that far off...most people would agree that our over all talent level has not been truly NFL level in a few years...we have had some good players but from top to bottom we have been somewhere between horrible NFL team and really good college team...IMO

 

So no I don't think the article was called for...I do agree that it is not the most well written...but it was not as completely inaccurate as some want to believe.
