Alright, since the draft is officially over, let's make the prediction:


1. Which rookie qb has the best chance to start the season?

Since both the Jags and Vikings signed Henne and Cassel respectively for $8 - $10 millions for two years, there is very little chance that either Bortles or Bridgewater will start the season, unless either somehow beat out their incumbent starter decisively. Similar to Jake Locker's rookie year, both will see the field sparingly this season.


Manziel, on the other hand, will have the best chance to start because Hoyer is coming off an ACL, but more importantly, it's the "Tebow-mania" effect that will push Pettine to start Manziel. I really don't think Manziel will start the season. For all the crazy hype that he received, he's nowhere near the prospect that Luck, RG3, or Cam were; those three were elite prospects, but he will have more playing time than Bortles or TB.


2. Which rookie will be the starter for the final quarter of the season?

Easily Manziel. It's the "Tebowmania effect". Gus will go the conservative route with Bortles, and I predict TB will get more playing time than Bortles.


3. Which rookie has the best chance to win Rookie of Year?

Manziel, but only because he has more playing time. However, I'm willing to bet money that the QB will not win Rookie of Year; it will go to Sammy Watkins. (E.J, believe it or not, was doing a decent job as a rookie before he got hurt. Watkins will be big for him).
