It just cracks me up that people get so butthurt when anyone writes an article that paints the team in a negative light...and the ironic thing is...most of you trashing this guy now would be rushing to quote him if he was to write a glowing article about our team in 6 months...

 

I mean seriously...did everyone think with one or two good drafts that the national media was just going to stop and fall in love with us?  We have yet to show it on the field...when we continue to pack the stadium and can start making the play offs and winning the division on a consistent basis these types of articles will disappear.  Until that happens, like it or not, there is tons of fodder out there to make these types of articles.

 

I used to get upset about it then I realized that it will be this way until the team puts a better product on the field and starts winning meaningful games year in and year out.  So now when I read national articles I tend to look at the items they present and not how they present them...maybe some should try that.

 

lol @ this being a 'national article'.  This isn't ESPN or NFLN.  It's the Orlando Sentinel.

 

His jokes weren't even funny.  If they were funny, I'd be okay with it.  But they're all rehashed jokes that sound like they came off of the Popsicle sticks my 7 year old daughters eat in the summer.  On second thought -- those are still funnier.

 

The guy does nothing but take cheap shots.  He sounds like a bitter old hack who hasn't really watched Football since Dan Marino retired.  

 

It's not even an article.  It's an insult to sports journalism.  Fluffed with terrible jokes at the sake of a franchise.  Even if the article was replaced with the stinking tacks, I'd find it an appalling piece of journalism.
