They said during the address yesterday that if not for the London game, the Jags would have been in the negative for revenue last year.

 

The local revenue stream isn't just ticket sales.  The reason London accounted for as much as it did was partly due to the fact that they had a larger stadium with higher ticket prices, but the majority of the revenue came from all the sponsorship and advertising dollars the team secured.  Every official event had a corporate sponsor pumping money into it.  Every trinket they gave to fans had corporate money behind it.  Advertising on the video boards and for static displays were revenue generating for the Jags.  It was a week long event last year, and every event was sponsored. 

 

They also mentioned that the Union Jacks fan club over there was an additional revenue stream, as was merchandise sales.  They found a way to monetize taking the team from the 31st most popular franchise in London to what?  Top 5?  That's all revenue that wasn't ticket sale related, and it was accounted for in the 15% figure they touted.
