We were told under Gene Smith that rebuilding the roster would take 3-4 years to complete, at which point the team would be contending for the playoffs.

 

He got that window to deliver, and he failed.

 

I think we've got a far more competent group in charge now, and I think we'll start to see the benefits of that this season.  Another draft and we'll see this team really taking off.  Everything points to 2015 as the year the Jags really take a significant step up. 

 

They're laying the foundation now, and it's looking good.  There's a lot to be optimistic about.  Hopefully it pans out the way we think it should!
