You can't let those expectations-fan expectations-dictate football decisions.

 

Fan expectations would have had us hiring Spurrier and drafting Tebow.

 

Fan expectations would have us going for every 4th down.

 

Fan expectations would have us firing a coach every week.

 

I LOVE the buzz and excitement growing around this team.

 

But nothing would short circuit that buzz more quickly or effectively than putting in Bortles before he is ready.
