No one is wrong because this can't be proven either way. Qbs have failed starting early and qbs have succeeded. Qbs have failed sitting and qbs have succeeded sitting.


And I'm not saving the Bortles and Gabbert comment. Gabbert was destined to fail because he was a bad qb. One year holding a clipboard wasn't going to magically improve his pocket presence.

No we wouldn't still have Lefeavor slinging the rock. I don't give players unlimited chances to fail.

I'd much rather handle the situation like the Eagles did with McNabb. 

 

We have 4 new OL starters this year, as well as many new offensive skill players. Let the offense sort itself out with the veteran Henne under Center for at least the first 8 games, and then re-evaluate at that point.
