At least in Soward's case, he was able to get back on the field...in Canada...briefly. 

 

It's funny.  I did a quick Google of RJ and found his wiki page.  This really cracked me up:

He flamed out in Jacksonville because he was a drunk, and a better fit for him would have been New Orleans? 

 

Unfortunately, it appears Blackmon is becoming Soward 2.0.  It's a real shame.
