I don't mind Goodell.  He's in a tough spot, and to me makes a pretty good decision in the leagues best interest for the most part.  I also like Ryan Clark....the guys still in the league and has the balls to say something like this.  I cant wait until he's done to hear what he has to say.

 

Well, I don't think Jim Irsay was going to swing the vote on a Super Bowl site, but I agree that he should have stayed away.

 

I also think Goodell has been pretty right on by and large with his rulings. I also know that many people need a designated Bad Man and Goodell fills that role for some.

 

I don't think Ryan Clark is showing much courage in speaking his mind (and more power to him). What's he got to be afraid of? Goodell going to pay someone to take out his knee?

 

Goodell's not stupid. He knows how it will look if he takes no action. And the NFL is always concerned about how things look.
