I'm hoping for a little bit more than that, but I guess they can't complain if they do get that. If the team continues its ascent, even that  price will probably be a bargain. 

 

I think double is just speculation.  I would expect Khan to be looking to boost that even more, but with the caveat that if they invest what he's asking, he'll make it worth their while. 

 

When the team was in London, Khan hosted a dinner inside the guard facility of the London Tower.  At this dinner, he included companies he does business with at Flex-N-Gate, corporate sponsors for the game over there, sponsors from Jacksonville, city representatives from Jax, and a host of other prominent business representatives.  It was almost like a millionaire/billionaire speed dating thing with the city and with Shad Khan. 

 

During the dinner, Khan basically laid out a strategy that had less to do with building up the game, and almost everything to do with using the Jaguars and Fulham as vehicles to help build their businesses, and  to help expand the profile for the city of Jacksonville. 

 

There were a lot of handshake deals that were apparently cooked up during that dinner, and during the week they were in London.  EverBank would want a seat at that table almost certainly.  I see the naming rights deal as their ticket.
