tbh I half expect Wilson to fizzle out in a few years. I think he'll have a good run for another couple years while that defense and the talent around him is still high, but once players start to leave and they go through that lull that guys like Brady and Big Ben are experiencing right now, Wilson will not be able to carry the team.

You keep seeing it because it is true.  Wilson is not a top tier Qb but he is a 2nd or 3rd tier. He made criticial plays down the stretch that won seattle games. 

 

Dilfer played for perhaps the best defense who has ever played and had a 2,000 yard back on his team.  A coach would be a fool to not play good defense and run the ball.

Brad Johnson was an averge Qb who was playing with a domiant tampa 2 and a fierce front 4. I believe they also had warrick dunn and alstot

 

Defense wins you championships but you need a solid Qb to contribute.
