I don't know. It sounds good but I remember those years watching the good teams be able to pick us apart all the way down the field. I think in this new NFL you have to be able to pressure the offense and make them get out of sync. You have to generate the sacks and picks not what for something to happen in your favor. I used to be huge on the bend but don't break style but I'm starting to warm up to this attacking style of defense. When you understand the gap assignments and line techniques being used it really does seem very good. You create the pressure you need with out sacrificing the coverage. 

 

And it allows you to be multiple. That's the key. Maybe the Brady's, Brees' and Peytons' can decipher your defense but the other 29 qbs won't. If you are not playing a hall of fame caliber qb then most likely you are making it very tough on the opposing qb.
