This isn't something to grant Bortles the starting gig immediately just because he might immediately seem better than Henne in camp/ PS games. Theres a lot that has to go into getting Bortles ready for the full time starting gig. 

 

He's a junior eligible player so, this year will be spent as a red shirt year. Junior eligible QB rushed into immediate starting spots have generally had less than favorable results. The Jags are seemingly handling this situation the correct way. As long as they don't give in to impatient cLoWnS who are trying to rush the process.
