You can't tell me that because you don't sit in practices, you don't watch his drills and even if you did, there is no objective way for you or anyone to assess the impact, positive or negative on a players game by a coach. Generally the people who try and do that are arrogant trolls who think that watching a few games of football a week means they know which positional coaches do their job well.

 

Maybe Brown and Smith would be superstars were it not for their coaches negative impact, maybe he has squeezed every last drop of talent out of them. You don't know, I don't know, heck even the players and coaches themselves probably couldn't assess it accurately.

 

Even if Sullivan is that much better than any coach Tandon Doss has ever had, is he suddenly, in his 3rd year in the league with just 20 catches to his name, going to become a good WR? Its possible, but history says its very, very unlikely, certainly not to the extent where he is going to displace the man who is unquestionably our best WR.
