IIRC, some who are sagely defending the wisdom of sitting Bortles a year in this thread were among those griping about it initially.

 

I know I was lukewarm at best with the pick initially, but a lot of that was because of a few things: 1. I wanted a trade down 2. I wanted Bridgewater (or Johnny Alcohol) 3. I really didn't know much about Bortles. 

 

I don't remember any of my initial uneasiness with the pick dealing with him not being an immediate starting QB.
