College Football Magazines for the 2014 Season

#9

Yea Steele has his typical magazine.  I find it hard to read though.  Lots of abbreviations.  And too many stats... especially stats from some player from 6 years ago.  Reminds me of Mel Kiper's draft book.  Too many stats and not enough analysis.

I've always stuck with the Athlon magazine, although I wish there was sometimes a little more in-depth analysis here as well.  But at least you are actually reading something as opposed to sifting through numbers.  They've gotten better with their recruiting analysis over the years as well.  A whole page for each team with a breakdown of each recruit.

I typically buy the SEC version which has 4-5 pages per team.  And then I buy the national magazine which has one page for everybody.  I dont need indepth for everybody but I do like a blurb on who their good players are and what the expectation is.
