Jacksonville doesn't have a core. It's all spread out. So you can't just go downtown and find the entertainment you might find in other cities. You have to discover things and make your own life.
In July and August the heat is hellish, but that's true most places. In March and April there are few places on earth better than Jacksonville. You can even find nice weather in January and February sometimes. And if you like NFL football, there are plenty of good cheap seats available. It's a great time to be a Jag fan. Things are really looking up. |
