Will Spurrier be the next Carroll?
|
I wonder if Steve Spurrier will attempt to return to the NFL as a head coach, and eventually try to tie Pete Carroll, Jimmy Johnson, and Barry Switzer as the only coaches to ever win a SuperBowl and a College Football National Championship.
The fact that Pete Carrol had a rough start in the NFL with the Jets & then Patriots went to USC for almost a decade and than returned to the NFL and created such a successful dominating defense in Seattle to win a Super Bowl makes me wonder if Steve Spurrier might be able to try do the same. Do you think an NFL team would give him another shot, do you think he would take it? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
