That tells me that this whole tweet or whatever sparked this is pretty much meaningless.  There's nothing new here.  The team is simply saying what they have said all along.

 

The only thing "new" is the fact that the team is allowed to release him during his suspension, and the team has no plans to do so at this time.

 

The team has no idea if, or when Blackmon will be back in the NFL...


 

Fans need to put the whole trade him / start him / we have a superior receiver corps out of their minds.

 

The only FACTS that we know right now are these.

 

• We have two maybe three veteran receivers returning that are pretty good.
  

• We have two rookies that are good prospects.
  

• We have a new offensive line.
  

• We have an average NFL quarterback leading the team into the season mentoring a rookie quarterback.
  

• We have all new running backs (for the most part).
  

 

The title of this post is so misleading that it's pretty much laughable.
