Just to get to the level of a "local reporter" takes a hell of a lot of work and education. From there to get to the point of "national recognition" takes a whole lot more. Being a media reporter, radio broadcaster or even a journalist takes more than signing up on some website and posting your poorly produced audio/visual stuff.
