Andre Branch: Double digit sacks
|
Quote:I think people realize that he struggled in his rookie season. A lot of DE's have. It isn't necessarily what he did his first year, it is how he improved from year one to year two and now year two to year three. Also, it wasn't just the numbers he improved on. He improved in the coaches eyes as well. I think most people understand that year one isn't a huge barometer either way on a players entire career. He improved last year plain and simple. We will see if he takes another step this year. His numbers improved but he did not, he still hardly got any pressure, majority of his sacks came off of little trick plays where he'd run around the formation and go through air to the QB which obviously is an awesome play but it's not something to praise him for all he did was run which most human beings can do. |
