The story has made its rounds. I think the Jags taking this approach is absolutely the best move possible. Hope for the best and plan for the worst. Like or not, Blackmon is still the best receiver on this team the moment he gets reinstated unless Lee or Robinson prove to me otherwise. He isn't even making a whole lot of money either so why not keep a diamond level player through his rookie contract? Big thumbs up on Caldwell/Kahn for their decision making regarding blackmon. Edit: Cecil Shorts better pray blackmon stays down otherwise he becomes easy trade bait if he isn't already. |
