Lol...I don't know you keep focusing on $121 millions as though he's actually being paid that amount for six years. He's not; he's only guaranteed half of that amount. When Drew Brees wanted to hold out during his contract negotiation, he held out because he wanted more guaranteed money.


I don't need to know what incentives/clauses are in his contract. That overall number is just that, the total money he could ideally earn, but most likely not.


Vick signed a $100 million contract with the Eagles after 2010. McNabb signed $80 million with the Redskins after he got traded. Do you think they are at home laying on a bed of money from that contract right now?


If Kaep somehow makes $90 million out of his $120 million contract in six year, that means he became the players the 49ers wanted him to be, and its a win-win for both parties.
