Yep.    The 49ers are just getting a leg up on NFL reality a little in advance and getting the QB position cost controlled while the cap ceiling sky rockets in the next few years under new TV contract revenue.    There's currently a $50 billion dollar merger between AT&T and DirectTV that's completely and wholly dependent on DirectTV retaining Sunday Ticket rights.   If they can't retain the rights, a $50 billion dollar merger is nullified.   In other words, they basically have to cut the NFL a blank check.     Sunday Ticket is just the sampler appetizer for the main course.   Wait until Disney, CBS/Viacom, NBC Universal and Fox start getting into a bidding war for the main broadcasting rights, particularly for prime time games.    It's going to be mindblowing.    That's not even including an outsider like Google deciding to sliver off some of their $60 billion of cash on hand to use NFL broadcasts as the foundation to launch a new Internet TV streaming service, similar to the way Fox used the NFL to create the 4th broadcast network.
