One would think that RCMH would rather host an NFL Draft than any other event.   Yet,  considering James Dolan's history,   I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt on anything.    If anyone is capable of screwing up having an event of the magnitude of the NFL Draft at their facility,  it's Dolan.   

 

I believe the NFL wanted to move it back a couple of weeks to increase exposure, which they accomplished.  

 

The Easter Show being booked on the usual date to me doesn't indicate that the Easter Show just happened to book it first... the NFL let that happen.  

 

Basically, the NFL can host the draft wherever and whenever they want.  An freakin Easter Show is not going to postpone the plans of a multi billion dollar business.

 

It might be Dolan being a doofus - but I think it was a calculated move by the NFL to move it back a few weeks.

 

They gave the Easter Show excuse to make it seems less conspicuous.

 

I'll give you one thing - I don't know much about Dolan.  Is he that much of a screw-up (before I do my quick google search)?
