People seem to have forgotten the hype surrounding Blackmon when he entered the draft. From TV spots with Michael Irvin to being featured in video game commercials it's unusual for the Jags to land a player like that.

 

You just don't throw that all away and give up.
 

That's what we hope will be the case.  But, as is the case with addiction, you just don't know how someone is going to deal with that.  Some people will throw everything away in life for the sake of the next drink or fix.   Hopefully that's not the case here.
