And as for people not watching the sixth or seventh round - this is said on the same message board that can go on for page after page regarding possible tight ends from Western Kentucky who would be good selections in the sixth round. People will watch.

 

Finally - some people seem to make the point of "it's all about the bottom line" like that's a bad thing. The bottom line is only benefited if people buy the product. And right now people are certainly buying the product. The last time I looked we were the people.

I agree with y'all's comment about "that's what the NFL Network is for" but that's just the League using it's own broadcasting platform to promote it's product. In order to keep in line with the revenue generation, I would think that other broadcasting entities would want to be involved as well; read "ESPN". And while the Worldwide Leader isn't above cowtowing to the Shield, I would imagine that a broadcast of just the Sixth and Seventh rounds would take a back seat to the PBA broadcast.
