Sanders was the 101st overall pick in last April's draft. "5-foot-7 players who don't make guys miss don't have a ton of value," writes beat reporter Ryan O'Halloran. Sanders averaged just 9.5 YPR on 51 grabs as a rookie, breaking an anemic four tackles. He was the Jaguars' primary slot receiver and lined up in the backfield some. Jacksonville drafted Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee in the second round last month. They plan to use Cecil Shorts in the slot more this season, and that's Sanders' position.

I mean anything is possible when a team finishes 2nd to last overall in the NFL (record) and remains one of the worst offenses for the last few years (especially in passing), so while I think we all feel Ace Sanders has tons of potential and will remain I can see why the media is guessing it.


I wouldnt worry to much because Ace Sanders himself was talking about how he appreciates the competition.
