You always hate to hear about accidents like these.  There are laws regulating truckers, but most of them have to work when they aren't supposed to if they want to make any money.  I think the regulations have caused more stress, than they've helped relieve.  A mandatory ten hour rest, and the mandatory 34 hour rest between shifts sound like good ideas on paper.  But not so much in practice.

Actually in 1895 there were only two cars on the road in the entire state.  And they crashed into each other.  (or so I've heard)
