The backlash against stadium renovations always amazes me. It's one of the few assets that a city can own, other than a traffic enforcement division, that can actually make money for the city. Not that they don't have their place and uses but Roads, Schools, LIbraries, etc. all of those things simply provide a service and cost the city money to operate. The stadium is one of the very few things that can put money into the city's pockets and it's the one thing that seems to get the most push back on making them better.

 

Just odd to me.
