I also saw Eli, Vinny, and Trent play. They were all terrible, until they got better. It took Vinny and Trent a while, by the way. I'm interested to see what happens with Blaine. And all you losers want us to lose anyway, so...

Admittedly there have been a lot of really bad NFL quarterbacks. Most of the lower draft picks and undrafted free agents are way worse than Gabbert. Spergon Wynn was a memorable disaster for the Browns.

But I'm pretty sure the OP intended the discussion to be QBs drafted with the expectation of them becoming franchise QBs. When you draft a QB in the 7th round, it's no great loss if he stinks.

Speaking of Jonathan Quinn, Gabbert reminds me a lot of him. Intelligent, strong arm, decent foot speed, but no pocket presence or field vision. Drafting a player like that is worth a shot in the later rounds, not trading up to get him in round 1.
