The upside is too great to just cut loose. 

 

The Jags would be fools to just cut him loose before anything such as a lifetime NFL ban. 

 

Why give an apponent the opportunity to get a player with that level of upside for free?

 

The risk is if you install him into the offense, things could be going good then all of a sudden the team is once again blindsided with his now permanent ban from the league. 

 

At this point the risk is greater than the reward.

What's the point? Because when/if he returns to the roster, he is the best receiver on the team. 

 

 

Yup.

This is a what have you done for me lately league. If we get solid production out of Robinson, Lee and Shorts Blackmon is irrelevant. 

 

It wont be the end of the world if the team cuts him and is successful without Blackmon.
