This is a what have you done for me lately league. If we get solid production out of Robinson, Lee and Shorts Blackmon is irrelevant. 

 

It wont be the end of the world if the team cuts him and is successful without Blackmon. 

 

Blackmon and his abilities trump anything Robinson, Lee, or Shorts bring to the table. 

 

The team isn't going to cut him any time soon. 

 

You say the risk is greater than the reward.  Why?  Right now there's zero risk and only reward if he comes back and becomes productive. The team will have to make the determination as to what they anticipate he will don if he's reinstated.  They clearly are keeping their options open at this point, so I'm again not sure why it is you think this is something they must do?  What's the rush exactly?
