What would you give up for Eric Berry

I made a comment not long ago about you probably only seeing a couple penn state games over the past couple years and you went off about how living in Philly they're forced down your throat. Pretty sure the same would apply for the eagles with even less variety to choose from and you don't even know what poaition dawkins played. Easily one of the best safeties of all time. To me that speaks volumes about how much you actually watch football as opposed to how you watch highlights, read articles, and then promote your agenda.

Not really, at the bar when the Jags are on, I'm watching the Jags, not the Eagles. Saturdays I'm watching whatever college football is being televised.

And as said, I thought Dawkins played SS due to his style of play which I saw being like Polamalu. You're trying too hard here. Not correctly remembering which Safety position he played years ago really isn't that big of a deal. I forgot, plain & simple. biiiig deal. You act as if I couldn't spot him in a police lineup or something Laughing

The only one thats promoting an agenda here is you. My comment was a benign mistake. You're acting how Alfie would act over something small. ...maybe its your napoleon complex acting up again.  :whistling:

With that being said, eric berry is an exceptional talent. At 25 years old he has a lot of good years left. Has good speed, good tackler, smart player with good ball skills. Trading a high round pick for someone who might leave in two years would not be smart. If he can be had for a couple picks representing a little better value and gets a new restructured 4 or 5 year deal, i would be for it, but as others have stated, he has no real reason to do that.

For example, if cyprien turns into the player a lot of us thinks he will and keeps progressing, he will make an average of 1 million dollars over the next three years. Berry, on the other hand, is making 13 mil over the next 2 years. So 6.5 million per year average. Cyp only cost us 1 second round pick and an average of 5 and a half million dollars less a year.

Not sure you know what napoleon complex is....
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
